Healthy Ageing Gold Coast is a specialist medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to older adults. Our team comprises a Geriatrician and a Psychogeriatrician working collaboratively in a professional, supportive, and compassionate environment. We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of elderly patients through comprehensive assessments and ongoing care.

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis to work collaboratively with the Senior Secretary/ Practice Manager. This is a front desk role for 3 days per week. Preferentially Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing appointment bookings and coordinating daily clinic flow; Must Have experience with Gentu or alike

• Handling incoming calls and patient enquiries efficiently

• Processing medical billing, payments, and administrative documentation (Ecilipse)

• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting day-to-day operations of the clinic

• Basic cleaning of the office.

About You:

• Previous experience in a medical reception (GP or Specialist) role is essential

• Comfortable with medical billing systems and administrative processes for Medicare and DVA clients

• A genuine interest in working with elderly patients

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop new skills within a specialist setting

• This job requires a high degree of accuracy and dedication.
