We have opportunities available for entry-level trainees through to experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians, working on major infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory.

The Opportunities

We're recruiting for:

Construction Materials Testing Trainees

Perfect for school leavers or anyone looking to start a rewarding career.

No experience is required—we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians

If you have experience in Construction Materials Testing, particularly concrete testing, we'd love to hear from you. Higher rates are available for experienced technicians with the right skills and experience.

About You

Trainees

✔ No experience required

✔ Physically fit and capable of manual work

✔ Willing to work a rotating day and night shift roster

✔ Reliable with a positive attitude

✔ Eager to learn and build a long-term career

Experienced Technicians

✔ Construction Materials Testing experience

✔ Concrete testing experience preferred

✔ Strong commitment to safety and quality

✔ Reliable and able to work independently and within a team

✔ Excellent communication skills

Working With HiQA

This role operates on a:

• 56-hour work week

• Monday to Saturday roster

• Rotating day and night shifts

• Night shift paid at 1.5x your normal hourly rate

What's On Offer?

• Competitive hourly rates from $27.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Entry-level trainees start from $27.00 per hour

• Above-award penalties and night shift loading

• Accommodation and company vehicle provided for the right technician relocating from interstate

• FIFO from any major capital city, may be considered for the right experienced technician

• Career development and ongoing training
