TYRE FITTER WANTED – IMMEDIATE START

About the role

Bridgestone Select Sandgate is seeking an experienced and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based at our Sandgate QLD 4017 location. As a Tyre Fitter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service whilst ensuring vehicles are fitted with quality tyres safely and efficiently. Your expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the success of our automotive services business.

What you'll be doing

1. Fitting, balancing, and removing tyres from a variety of vehicles

2. Performing wheel alignment and tyre repair services

3. Inspecting tyres and wheels for damage or wear

4. Maintaining accurate records of work completed and vehicle details

5. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

6. Operating and maintaining tyre fitting equipment and tools

7. Providing expert advice to customers regarding tyre selection and maintenance

8. Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe at all times

9. Supporting the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter or similar automotive trade role

2. Strong knowledge of tyre fitting procedures, safety protocols and equipment operation

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

5. Good customer service skills and a professional demeanour

6. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks regularly

7. A current, valid driver's licence

8. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive trades (preferred)

9. Reliability and punctuality
