Operating 24/7, Veera Transport is prepared to support a wide range of transportation needs for businesses of all sizes.Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Admin and Bookkeeper role based in Perth, WA. The role involves managing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining records, handling correspondence, and supporting scheduling and logistics documentation. The Admin and Bookkeeper will process invoices, track expenses, reconcile accounts, and assist with payroll and compliance-related paperwork. The role includes updating and organizing digital and physical files, preparing simple reports for management, and coordinating with drivers and clients when required. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support a small, fast-paced transport business environment.Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including invoicing, expense tracking, account reconciliation, and basic payroll support.Administrative capabilities such as document management, data entry, record keeping, and office coordination.Proficiency with accounting and office software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar; Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).Effective communication skills for liaising with internal team members, subcontractors, and clients.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Understanding of basic compliance requirements relevant to transport or small business operations is beneficial.Prior experience in bookkeeping, administration, or a similar role; experience in transport or logistics is an advantage.Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
