Full Time - 38 hours a week

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (06:00am - 2:00pm)

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday (06:00am - 2:00pm)

Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (2:00pm - 10:00pm)

Week 4: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (2:00pm - 10:00pm)

12.5% penalty rates for 1400 – 2200 shift

Responsibilities

As an Environmental Attendant, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the hospital maintains a safe, hygienic, and compliant environment. Reporting to the Team Leader – Environmental, your responsibilities will include:

Collecting and distributing clean and soiled waste bins across hospital departmentsSafely handling, emptying, washing, and recording various waste streamsSupporting waste minimisation and recycling initiativesOperating bin washing and waste management equipment in line with safety proceduresLiaising with subcontractors to coordinate waste management servicesAssisting staff and stakeholders in a professional, customer-focused manner
