Microsoft Applications & Solutions Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Applications & Solutions Developer to design, develop and support business applications across the Microsoft ecosystem. This is a hands-on role responsible for developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, custom web and mobile applications, and system integrations that support business operations and digital transformation initiatives. You will also collaborate with external software development partners to deliver high-quality, scalable and secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and support business applications across the Microsoft ecosystem, including custom web and mobile solutions.

• Develop and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Dynamics 365.

• Design, develop and support web and mobile applications.

• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations between Microsoft and third-party systems.

• Develop scalable, secure and high-performing software solutions.

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Collaborate with external software development partners to deliver projects on time and to agreed requirements.

• Participate in solution architecture, testing, deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation and contribute to development standards and best practices.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).

• 5+ years' commercial experience in software development.

• Experience developing business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integrating business applications across the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Strong experience developing web, mobile and cross-platform applications.

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and system integrations.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases and data modelling.

• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Dart or similar.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application development.

• Experience with modern software development practices including Git, source control and application lifecycle management.
