Inventory Controller

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and records within the distribution centre. This role ensures the right product is in the right place at the right time through disciplined cycle counting, effective replenishment, purchasing, and timely resolution of inventory issues.

Role Title: Inventory Controller

Location: Moorebank, New South Wales, Australia

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Operations Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in inventory control and warehouse operationsKnowledge of stock management processes: cycle counting, replenishment, putaway and transfersProficient in WMS/ERP systems and MS ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracy in stock reconciliationEffective communicator and team player across warehouse, planning, and procurement

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.Investigate and resolve stock variances, damaged stock and discrepanciesManage replenishment of pick faces from bulk storage, ensuring timely and accurate movement of stockRaise and manage purchase orders with local suppliers for DC stock requirementsFollow up with suppliers on delivery timing and resolve discrepancies on supplier invoices or deliveriesManage stock transfers in and out of the DC, ensuring accurate documentation and timely movement
