About the Role
As we continue to grow, TigerVac SA is seeking a Truck Wash Attendant / Vehicle Detailer to join our team on a permanent afternoon shift, working 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance and presentation of the company’s fleet, including vacuum trucks, hydro excavation units and support vehicles. The role includes external washing, interior detailing and basic vehicle inspections, as well as reporting any damage, defects or maintenance requirements identified during the cleaning process.

This position plays an important role in maintaining TigerVac’s high standards of safety, compliance and vehicle presentation, ensuring our fleet is clean, maintained and ready for operational deployment.

Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, your duties will include:

• Thoroughly clean the exterior of trucks using high-pressure washers, brushes, degreasers, and other cleaning tools.

• Clean and sanitise truck interiors (cabs), including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, windows, and removing rubbish.

• Perform underbody rinses to remove mud, debris, and contaminants.

• Empty, rinse, and clean catch tanks and toolboxes if required.

• Conduct basic inspections (check for leaks, damaged lights, flat tyres, etc.) and report faults to the maintenance team.

• Ensure all wash equipment is maintained and used safely.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the wash bay area.

• Follow all safety and environmental procedures including the use of PPE and proper disposal of wash water and chemicals.

• Complete job checklists and daily reports as required.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in vehicle or truck washing (preferred but not essential).

• Basic knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.

• HR license is a plus but not mandatory.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have strong attention to detail.
