About The Role

As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating an organisation’s purchasing activities, ensuring the timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services. The position reports to the Senior Procurement Officer & Deputy Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Finding synergies and standardising needs where possible to source widely.Preparing Tender invitations as per the Joint Venture process and launching tendersDeveloping Tender analysis and negotiation strategyParticipating in technical and commercial interviews with short-listed vendorsNegotiating to obtain the best conditions and fit the budget.Recommendation to the Production team and managementPreparing and reviewing contractsContract execution follow-upHelping to prepare KPIs and updating the databaseOrganise local purchases for the projectEstablishes all the documents necessary to ensure efficient purchasingParticipates in consultation with suppliers.

Qualification & Experience

Degree in Management, Purchase, ProcurementPrevious professional experience in procurementExcellent relationship skillsMethodical and meticulous with common senseStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to critique, recommend and implement initiatives that seek efficiencies either from a process or systems perspective
