About the Opportunity

Steadfast Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineering Lead (Program) to lead quality outcomes across a complex enterprise transformation program. This role is responsible for defining and governing the quality engineering strategy, frameworks, testing approach, and release confidence across cloud-based platforms, legacy modernisation initiatives, and business-critical technology solutions. The successful candidate will drive modern quality engineering practices, including automation, AI-assisted testing, and risk-based quality governance, while partnering with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Quality Engineering strategy, governance framework, and validation approach across a large-scale transformation program.
• Lead and mentor Quality Engineers and Test Analysts, promoting Agile delivery, continuous testing, and a culture of shared quality ownership.
• Define and oversee functional, integration, regression, automation, UAT, and non-functional testing activities across the program.
• Drive the adoption of modern quality engineering practices, including test automation, AI-assisted testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate quality status, delivery risks, release readiness, and testing outcomes to senior stakeholders and business leaders.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Quality Engineering, Test Management, or Test Leadership roles within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience developing and implementing QA strategies, risk-based testing frameworks, and quality governance practices across large-scale programs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, API testing, UI testing, and non-functional testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring teams, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted quality engineering practices, test management tools, and ideally exposure to insurance, financial services, SaaS platforms, or large-scale transformation programs.
