Role overview

Our long-established global partner is entering a period of transformation, growth, and acquisition. This role supports day-to-day financial operations while delivering clear analysis and reporting to guide decision-making across multiple industries and countries.

• Ensure accurate monthly and annual reporting across multiple streams, including consolidated results and budget presentation preparation.

• Provide management with accurate results, commentary, insights and produce forecast reporting.

• Deliver margin and product profitability analysis for sales and service functions.

• Lead the budgeting process and align budgets with strategic goals and forecasts.

• Manage the month-end close timetable to ensure data integrity and completeness.

• Provide leadership across reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, governance, and AP/AR processes.

• SAP experience strongly desired.

About you

• Experience in a Financial Accountant or Management Accountant role.

• Exposure to management accounting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Strong technical accounting capability and knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls.

• Process improvement experience (financial controls and reporting).

• High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Business Central, or similar).

• Ability to build financial models to assess changes in pricing, volume, and input costs.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• 5 years of accounting experience in a commercial environment

• Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and tax requirements

• Background in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial/Commercial Analysis

• Strong analytical mindset with a commercial curiosity
