Experienced Drainer - Crew Leader

Atlas Civil Contracting is seeking an experienced Drainer to join our growing civil construction team.

We are looking for someone who knows drainage, takes pride in their work and can confidently work as part of a civil crew. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced drainer who can get on site, understand the job and get it done safely and efficiently.

You will be involved in a variety of civil drainage works across projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area, including:

• Stormwater drainage

• Sewer infrastructure

• Common trench installation – water, gas and communications

• Commercial drainage

• Subdivision works

• Reading plans, levels and specifications

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, productivity and site safety

This is not an entry-level position. To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Drainer within civil construction

• Strong knowledge of drainage installation and civil construction practices

• Experience with stormwater, sewer and common trench works

• Ability to confidently read and interpret plans, specifications and levels

• Experience installing pipework, pits and associated drainage infrastructure

• Ability to work independently and as part of a civil crew

• Strong understanding of site safety requirements

• Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

• Current Construction White Card

• Current driver's licence

• Accredited ATCO Gas – Common Trench Gas Infrastructure SWI CO 029 ticket highly regarded

Additional civil construction tickets and plant experience will also be advantageous.
