About the role
Mocka is one of Australia and New Zealand's fastest growing furniture and homewares brands, part of the Adairs Group. We're looking for a Systems & eCommerce Technical Specialist to support and continuously improve the systems that power our business, with a strong focus on our eCommerce platform and the customer experience it delivers.
This role owns the administration, support and technical delivery of our core business systems, with eCommerce platform management and front end development sitting at the centre of the day to day work. You'll also manage the integrations, testing and release processes that keep everything running reliably behind the scenes.
What you'll be doing
Providing technical management and support of our eCommerce platform and PIM, ensuring platform stability, site performance and a great customer experience
Supporting front end development on the platform, including site enhancements, theme updates, integrations and bug fixes
Owning the administration, configuration and support of our core business systems more broadly
Managing integrations between our eCommerce platform, ERP, logistics partners, payment providers and internal systems
Leading QA, testing and release management, from test scripts through to post deployment validation
Investigating and resolving escalated issues, with a focus on root cause analysis rather than quick patches
Keeping technical and integration documentation clear, current and genuinely useful
Acting as a key technical point of contact for stakeholders, vendors and development partners
What you'll bring
Solid experience supporting an eCommerce platform and PIM, ideally alongside broader business systems (ERP, inventory or fulfilment systems all welcome)
Comfort working across both front end and back end systems
A practical understanding of front end development and website architecture
Experience with integrations between eCommerce platforms and ERP, logistics or payment systems
Experience with testing, deployments and release management in a production environment
Strong analytical skills and a genuine curiosity for working out why something broke
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
A methodical, detail oriented approach and the ability to juggle competing priorities
Why Mocka
You'll join a close knit, high energy team where your work has a direct and visible impact on the customer experience. We offer a supportive culture, the chance to work across a genuinely broad and interesting systems landscape and the opportunity to shape how our technology evolves as we grow.
If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now with your resume and a short cover note telling us why you're a great fit.
