About the role
Come be a part of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS)!
CYMHS is in a period of significant growth that is increasing access to mental health care for Tasmanians. The Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Management Psychologist is a new role with scope to work across a variety of existing CYMHS programs delivering high-quality mental health assessments, interventions and outcomes for consumers and their communities. The role is part of a small unit based within the CYMHS Extended Programs, which include Out-of-Home Care Mental Health, Youth Forensic Mental Health and Youth Mental Health.
The RoleThe Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Management Psychologist works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment undertaking a variety of evidence-based assessments across multiple CYMHS program areas. The role works closely with stakeholders, including consumers and their care teams, to understand presenting issues and develop and deliver appropriate treatment options. The role may also work with other mental health professionals, service providers, or other partners on research projects and quality improvement initiatives.

Details of appointmentPermanent full time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary$110,425 to $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
