Flinders Aviation is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) or experiened Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our growing team in Redcliffe, Queensland.

We are a unique fixed wing and rotary aviation facility specialising in aircraft painting, maintenance, engineering support, and aircraft presentation. Our team works across a wide variety of aircraft including helicopters, turbine aircraft, commuter aircraft and privately operated aircraft.

This role offers a diverse and hands-on environment with exposure to both maintenance and engineering support for aircraft paint projects.

Flinders Aviation is a CASA approved maintenance organisation operating from Redcliffe Aerodrome. We provide:

• Aircraft painting and refinishing

• Engineering for paint disassembly and reassembly

• Defect rectification

• Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

• Corrosion treatment and repairs

• Aircraft presentation and refurbishment

Our customers include private owners, commercial operators, emergency service providers, and aviation organisations across Australia.

The successful applicant will be involved in:

• Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

• Aircraft inspections and defect rectification

• Disassembly and reassembly for paint projects

• Troubleshooting and system maintenance

• Working alongside our paint and engineering teams to deliver high quality aircraft outcomes

• Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation and compliance records

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (LAME) or a highly experience AME.

• Has experience on fixed wing aircraft

• Rotary wing experience is highly regarded

• Has turbine aircraft experience preferred

• Works well within a team environment

• Takes pride in workmanship and attention to detail

• Has strong communication and organisational skills

• Is adaptable and enjoys variety in their work

Experience across both fixed and rotary aircraft will be highly regarded.
