About The Role!A key member of the Marketing & Communications team, the Communications Manager is responsible for leading the planning, development and delivery of the Guild's external communications, campaigns, events and strategic content initiatives. This role plays an important part in supporting the Guild's advocacy priorities and strengthening the profile of community pharmacy across Australia.
Working closely with National Secretariat teams, Guild Branches, industry stakeholders and external partners, you will deliver coordinated, high-impact communications that promote the value community pharmacy brings to patients, communities and the broader health system.
You will lead the development and execution of communication campaigns, oversee the editorial direction of Australasian Pharmacy, coordinate communications activities for major events and initiatives, and provide strategic communications advice to internal stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys combining strategy, creativity and stakeholder engagement to deliver meaningful outcomes.
This role is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at the Guild's National Secretariat in Barton, ACT
About You!You are someone who wants to make a difference through your work. You are passionate about strategic communications and understand the power of storytelling, advocacy and engagement to influence positive outcomes.
You are an experienced communications professional with demonstrated success developing and delivering communication strategies, campaigns and content across multiple channels. You enjoy taking ideas from concept to execution and measuring their impact.
Your stakeholder engagement skills are exceptional. You can build trusted relationships quickly, collaborate effectively with diverse groups, and confidently provide advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong attention to detail. You are proactive, organised and solutions-focused.
Your experience in communications, marketing, public relations or journalism will set you up for success. Experience in healthcare, advocacy or membership-based organisations will be highly regarded. Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related discipline are essential.
