Wirtgen slipform/Kerb machine Supervisor

AKJ Services is a civil construction company founded and owned in Darwin. Our company has expanded significantly since conception in 2018 and require a highly skilled and experienced Slipform/Kerbing Supervisor Operator to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising, operating and managing our Wirtgen SP15 Kerbing Machine, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of construction projects. You will play a critical role in overseeing the entire slip forming process, from setup to completion, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting technical issues, training junior operators, and collaborating with project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background or experience in construction using Leica UTS/GPS, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities

• Supervise/Operate and manage Wirtgen SP15 Kerbing Machine for various construction projects.

• Monitor the slip forming process to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery and processes.

• Train and mentor junior operators and team members.

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet project specifications and deadlines.

• Maintain detailed records of operations, maintenance, and project progress.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Operator or similar role in slip forming operations.

• Strong knowledge of Wirtgen SP15 Slipform Kerbing Machine and construction techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

• Leica UTS/GPS experience and capability essential.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments.

• Relevant certifications or training in construction machinery operation.
