Hancock Energy has a full-time opportunity for a Contracts Specialist to join a growing team supporting onshore oil and gas projects throughout Western Australia.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement contracting strategies aligned with company principles and market intelligence.Collaborate with technical teams to develop scopes and minimise commercial risks.Negotiate, finalise and prepare contracts for executionLead tender development, bid evaluation and supplier selection.Draft, review, and manage contracts and variations.Support development of Contract & Procurement processes and systems.Develop and maintain accurate records in contract management systems ensuring compliancy.Provide advice on procurement timeliness and contract obligations.Manage service providers.
To be successful in this role, you will have:At least 5 years’ experience in Contracts and ProcurementProven experience developing Contract and Procurement systems and processes.Experience in scoping the development, supplier qualification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, commercial drafting, contract finalisation, award and administrationGood supplier management and negotiation skillsStrong analytical and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills including across technical and commercial teams.Oil & Gas beneficial but not essential. Office based Mon to Fri in West Perth
