About the role

Olympic Boring Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Labourer to join our team in Virginia, SA 5120. This is a hands-on position where you will contribute directly to the success of our boring and construction projects. As a Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our skilled tradespeople and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a full-time position based on-site in Virginia.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting skilled tradespeople with water bore drilling, pump work and construction activities on site

• Preparing and maintaining work areas, including setting up equipment and clearing debris

• Handling and transporting materials, tools, and equipment as required

• Following safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members

• Performing general site maintenance and housekeeping duties

• Supporting the team with manual tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule

• Operating basic site equipment and machinery

• Assisting with site setup and breakdown activities

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks safely and effectively

• Willingness to work outdoors and in our workshop

• Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality and attendance

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures without compromise

• White Card

• Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively with tradespeople and other labourers

• A current Driver's Licence would be necessary and HR Drivers Licence or willing to obtain.

• Reside in SA

• A positive attitude towards continuous learning and development

• Knowledge in maintenance fitting is advantageous.
