About The Role
As a Development Engineer in the Roads & Drains team, you will help assess development and subdivision applications across Kingston, ensuring civil and drainage infrastructure meets Council standards and legislative requirements.
You Will
Assess planning permit applications and engineering plansReview drainage designs, catchment calculations, and stormwater management solutionsProvide advice on Legal Point of Discharge and Build Over Easement applicationsConduct site inspections and provide engineering advice to developers, residents, and internal stakeholders
Your Skills And Experience
Degree or Diploma in Civil EngineeringRegistration as an Engineer in VictoriaKnowledge of the Subdivision Act, Building Regulations, Planning and Environment Act, and related legislationAbility to assess drainage networks and prepare clear technical reports and correspondenceSound organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesCurrent Victorian Driver's Licence
