About the role
Lady Gowrie Tasmania is seeking passionate OSHC Educators and emerging leaders to join our Youngtown Primary School OSHC team. Whether you’re an experienced educator looking to build your leadership capability, an early childhood professional seeking a new challenge, or an educator wanting to further your qualifications while you work, we offer a supportive environment with mentoring, leadership development, genuine career progression opportunities, and the opportunity for eligible candidates to undertake a Certificate III or Diploma traineeship.
We are a not-for-profit, community-based organisation providing education and care to children from birth to 12 years of age across Tasmania. Ready to take the next step in your OSHC career? As an OSHC Educator with Team Leader responsibilities, you’ll be supported to grow your leadership skills through mentoring, coaching, and professional development. You’ll lead a small team of educators, act as the Responsible Person on site, and will have the opportunity to plan exciting experiences, support children’s interests, and lead memorable Vacation Care programs that children look forward to during school holidays. From supporting daily operations and building positive family relationships to leading fun and exciting Vacation Care programs, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and child-focused environment where children can thrive.
