Commercial Finance Analyst

The Opportunity

We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Analyst to join our high-performing Commercial Finance team, supporting our growing Food Ingredients portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you'll partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Category teams to provide financial insights, commercial analysis and decision support that drives long-term profitability.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to strengthen their business partnering skills, influence commercial outcomes and develop their career within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

What You Will Do

Partner with Sales, Marketing and Category teams to provide commercial insights and financial support that drive profitable growthSupport Integrated Business Planning, including Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and S&OP processesManage month-end reporting and forecasting for the Food Ingredients portfolio, delivering meaningful analysis on pricing, volume and profitabilityDevelop financial models and business cases to support new product development, pricing and commercial investment decisionsMonitor promotional performance, trade investment and pricing across key product categoriesProvide profitability analysis and recommendations to support commercial decision-makingBuild strong relationships across Finance, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver business outcomes

What You Will Bring

Experience in fast paced commercial finance, financial analysis or finance business partnering roleStrong analytical and financial modelling skills with a commercial mindsetExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence business decisionsExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reportingStrong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organisational skillsExperience in FMCG, manufacturing or retail will be highly regardedDegree qualified in Commerce, Finance or a related disciplineCA or CPA qualification (or working towards) is highly regardedAdvanced Excel skills with exposure to SAP, BW or Business Intelligence reporting tools
