We are seeking a caring, motivated and patient-focused Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our team at Day Hospital City West.

Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care and support the delivery of safe and effective clinical services.
You will play an important role in supporting the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of patients while contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the delivery of patient-centred care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Support patient assessments, care planning and discharge processes as appropriate to your role
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Assist in coordinating patient care with the multidisciplinary team
Support infection prevention and control activities
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Contribute to a safe and positive workplace culture
Participate in education and ongoing development activities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential RequirementsCertificate IV in Health Care or equivalent OR a minimum of one year's undergraduate nursing studies completed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
Caring and compassionate approach
Strong communication skills
Organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
