Senior Project Engineer

We’re currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer with strong civil infrastructure experience to join our growing team at Mack Civil. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key components of complex infrastructure projects, working closely with Project Managers and site teams to deliver high-quality outcomes safely, on time, and within budget.

• Deliver construction works in line with safety, quality, program and cost requirements

• Lead engineering delivery across multiple project scopes

• Provide accurate planning, forecasting and reporting

• Interface with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, Council and TfNSW standards and quality systems

• Identify and implement value engineering and technical solutions

• Mentor and support junior engineers and site staff

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on civil infrastructure projects

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

• Solid knowledge of construction standards, Council and TfNSW specifications, and QA systems

• Experience delivering projects for local councils and/or Transport for NSW (TfNSW) highly desired

• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills

• Confident working independently and leading elements of project delivery

• Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts as required

• Proven ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• A proactive mindset and collaborative leadership style
