Key Responsibilities

• Load, set up, and program CNC machines for turning, boring, milling, and drilling metal components.

• Adjust machine controls, including tool positioning, cutting depth, speed, and feed rates.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications, translating them into precise machine commands.

• Operate equipment efficiently while upholding strict OH&S guidelines and safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For

• Australian Trade-Tested Qualification (Cert III) or equivalent.

• Proven experience in setting and operating CNC machinery.

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with hand/power tools.

• Unwavering commitment to workplace safety.

• Must currently reside in Australia with full working rights.
