About the Opportunity
The University of Tasmania is seeking to appoint an exceptional leader as Director, Business Partnering and Advisory Services. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will lead an integrated portfolio spanning business partnering, advisory services, complaints management, and complex case management. Working closely with academic and professional leaders, you will provide strategic advice, build leadership capability, and drive workforce outcomes that support the University's strategic priorities.
This role will see you lead a high-performing team, strengthen a contemporary business partnering model, and ensure leaders receive trusted, consistent and timely support across a broad range of people matters. You will also oversee frameworks that enable effective case management, governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring complex matters are managed with care, integrity, and sound judgement.
