Branch Manager

About the role:
This is a hands-on position leading the Branch team in our Ingleburn branch to represent Bayset as the market leader and to provide accurate and efficient services to customers on a day-to-day basis. Your role will include counter service, coordinating and maintaining branch operations, and providing exceptional customer service.

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Overall responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the branch.

• Developing relationships and identifying customer needs.

• Providing correct product advice based on customers’ requirements and specifications.

• Working with the Sales Reps to identify new business leads.

• Liaising with Sales and Technical staff to ensure that our customers receive timely feedback on problem-solving.

• Purchasing requirements for the branch & ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained.

• Picking and packing orders, including completing courier and transport documentation.

• Checking picked orders, invoicing and branch transfers.

• Branch transfers.

• Adhering to inventory and warehouse controls.

• Ensuring areas of responsibility relating to shelving, stock and cleanliness are maintained to a high standard.

About you:
Ideally, you will have proven experience in customer service and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Along with experience in these areas, you will:

• Be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Knowledge of the building and construction industry would be an asset.

• Be highly motivated to continually exceed our customers' expectations, support company driven initiatives, and become an integral part of our team.

• Must have a current forklift licence;

• Have a valid Australian Drivers Licence;

• Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude along with a strong work ethic;

• Be well presented, self-motivated and willing to learn and develop new skills;

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Participate as a willing and productive member of the team.
