Ramsey Property Wealth is a Brisbane-based property wealth advisory firm helping Australians build, manage, and optimise residential investment portfolios. We are not a buyers agency and we are not a mortgage broker — we are a vertically integrated advisory platform delivering end-to-end client outcomes, from portfolio strategy through to acquisition and annual portfolio review.

We are scaling nationally across new markets. We run a disciplined operating rhythm built on clear accountability and a customer-first standard — defined roles, regular cadences, transparent expectations, and a structured career framework that rewards depth as well as leadership.

Personally manage the most valuable relationships in the division (typically 40–60 high-net-worth, long-tenure clients), delivering premium advisory programmes and guiding clients through high-value property acquisitions.

The Principal Portfolio Advisor is our most senior strategic advisory seat — the subject-matter expert who owns Ramsey’s most sophisticated clients, highest-value portfolios, and most complex strategy. You will personally manage the most valuable relationships in the division (typically 25–35 high-net-worth, long-tenure clients), delivering premium advisory programs and guiding clients through high-value property acquisitions.

Beyond your own book, you are the firm’s senior technical voice. You will chair our monthly technical strategy forum, lead complex case reviews with the advisory team, run client strategy workshops, and serve as the escalation point for the toughest strategy questions across SMSF, trust structures, multi-entity ownership, equity release, and portfolio restructuring.

This is a technical leadership role — not a people-management role. There are no direct reports and no HR accountability. Performance management, hiring, and reviews sit with a separate manager. You lead through expertise and influence, not authority — which means you spend your time on strategy and mastery, not admin and performance reviews. And to be clear about the model: this is not a prospecting role. Every client is provided to you — you don’t chase leads. You’re supported by specialist analysts and execution teams, so your focus stays where it matters: advising at the highest level, designing sophisticated strategy, retaining the firm’s most important relationships, and elevating the capability of the advisors around you.

What You’ll Own

• Top-tier client book — the most valuable relationships in the division (40–60 HNW clients), delivered through premium advisory programs, with high long-term retention.
• Strong technical leadership capability — case reviews, workshops, knowledge sharing (no formal HR or people-management experience required).sophisticated portfolio strategy for multi-entity, SMSF, and trust clients; complex debt strategies; equity release, restructuring, and acquisition pathways.
• Technical leadership — Tertiary qualification in finance, business, or a related field; postgraduate study or industry certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity in all client interactions and business dealings.
• Capability development — technical mentoring of advisors, contribution to onboarding, and authored training content on complex strategy (advisory input — not HR responsibility).
• Methodology & thesis input — technical input on methodology refinement, contribution to the investment committee, and piloting new advisory approaches before wider rollout.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in property investment advisory, wealth management, or HNW financial services.
• A demonstrated track record managing HNW clients and complex, multi-property portfolios.
• Deep expertise in complex strategy — SMSF, trust structures, multi-entity ownership, and equity strategies.
• Genuine subject-matter authority that justifies division-wide consultation, and the ability to influence without authority — peers, juniors, and senior leaders.
• Strong technical leadership capability — case reviews, workshops, knowledge sharing (no formal HR / people-management experience required).
• A genuine passion for property investment — through professional experience, personal portfolio ownership, or deep self-directed education. This is non-negotiable: candidates who treat advisory as “just another sales job” will not thrive here.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and disciplined client-file management.
• Tertiary qualification in finance, business, or a related field; postgraduate study or industry certifications preferred.
