About us

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer, and stronger Victoria.  

The Corporate Strategy and Delivery group delivers essential corporate and enabling services and specialist support, allowing the department to operate efficiently and effectively.

Enterprise Technology Services is an internal technology group within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, responsible for planning, delivering, and maintaining the technology systems and services that support the department's day-to-day operations. The group works closely with business units across the department to understand their needs and ensure they have access to reliable, fit-for-purpose technology solutions.

What you will do

As Manager, Procurement Systems, you will lead a team of procurement professionals.

You will guide system design, delivery, governance and ongoing improvements.

You will:

• lead a skilled team of procurement professionals.
• manage system design, delivery and changes to meet business needs.
• ensure systems meet legal, privacy, cyber security and accessibility requirements.
• maintain accurate system data and resolve risks, issues and system problems.
• guide continuous improvement, training and reporting across procurement systems.

About you

No mandatory qualification is listed for this role. A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.

You should also have:

• strong technical knowledge of information management technologies and business systems.
• experience delivering procurement systems, including cloud data storage and system integration.
• people management skills that support clear roles, feedback and staff development.
• strategic thinking with strong problem-solving, communication and change leadership skills.
