Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead the beverage experience at FARRA.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll take ownership of the bar’s day-to-day operation, beverage program and team performance. You’ll set the standard for service, inspire your team and ensure every detail, from the cocktail in the glass to the energy on the floor, reflects the FARRA experience.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Lead and inspire the bar team to deliver warm, confident and intuitive service.
• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, presentation and efficiency.
• Maintain and evolve the FARRA beverage offering across cocktails, spirits, wine and zero-proof options.
• Ensure cocktail specifications, batching, presentation and service standards are consistently delivered.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing bar team.
• Manage beverage costs, stocktakes, variance reporting and GP optimisation.
• Build strong supplier and brand relationships and support activations, events and training.
• Drive revenue through menu strategy, product knowledge and thoughtful upselling.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, hygiene, safety and RSA compliance.
• Collaborate with F&B, Culinary, Events and Venue Management to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

You’re a confident, hands-on bar leader who thrives in a premium, high-energy environment. You understand that great bar management is about balancing exceptional drinks, commercial performance and a team culture people want to be part of.

You’ll bring:

• Previous Bar Manager or senior bar leadership experience in a premium, lifestyle or high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beverage trends.
• Proven experience with stock control, beverage costs and financial performance.
• A passion for developing and motivating people.
• An eye for detail and a natural instinct for elevated presentation.
• Calm confidence under pressure and the ability to read the room.
• Warm, polished communication and strong emotional intelligence.
• A creative, solutions-focused mindset and a hands-on approach to leadership.
• Current RSA certification and a strong understanding of responsible service.
