Finance Manager

Emerge Early Years Services (EEYS) is a non-profit, regionally based organisation, dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the regional community. We are seeking a motivated Finance Manager to lead our finance team and drive our strategic plan.

A perfect role for an experienced or enthusiastic finance manager living regionally or looking for a tree change!

Opportunity to work hybrid (head office in Horsham) and drive positive change. This role will be part of the Executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and nurture a dynamic finance team.

- Design and implement robust financial governance practices.

- Ensure compliance with all legislative and funding requirements.

- Provide financial oversight and support the long-term sustainability of our organisation.

Qualifications:

- Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Experience in financial management in the non-profit or education sectors.

- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, compliance, payroll, and taxation laws.

- Required checks: Working with Children’s and Police Check, Fit and Proper Assessment.
