Porter & Valet Attendant / Doorperson (FT/PT)

Swissôtel Sydney is a premium five-star hotel located in the heart of Sydney’s business, retail and entertainment district. The hotel boasts 369 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites offering contemporary living for the modern business and leisure traveller. Our facilities include our Ten Stories Restaurant, Arches Bar on Market, Meeting Rooms and Conferencing spaces including a heritage-listed ballroom seating up to 400 people, fully equipped fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool and award-winning Spa Centre, Spa and Sport.

We are having an exciting opportunity for multiple roles to join our high performing Front Office and Concierge operations. Currently, we are looking for;

• Porter & Valet Attendant (Full-time)

• Doorperson (Part-time)

You will ensure that our guests and clients have a truly memorable experience throughout the entire guest journey from check-in to check-out and everything in between. 

[ Porter & Valet Attendant (Full-time) ]

Responsibilities of the include, but not limited to:

• Greet and assist guests and clients upon arrival and departure of the property

• Handle guest luggage, escort guests to their teams and hotel facilities

• Valet park for all guests

• Fulfil guest requests

• Assist with directions and local recommendations 

• The ability to work a rotating roster including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays

• Full NSW Drivers Licence (Manual and Automatic)

[ Doorperson (Part-time) ]

Responsibilities of the include, but not limited to:

• Be present at the front door at all times and act as an ambassador for the hotel

• Open and Close door of all arrivals to the hotel

• Greet and assist guests and clients upon arrival and departure of the property

• Always be friendly, smiling and calm under all circumstances.

• Control all parking and flow of traffic at the entrance.

• 4 days/week, Thur Fri Sat & Sun, 10am to 6pm
  

About You:

• The ability to demonstrate and deliver luxury service

• Previous experience in a similar role or luxury environment will be viewed favourably 

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent personal presentation
