Gardener

About the role

We’re on the hunt for a part-time Gardener to join the 4one4 Property Co. Maintenance team in Glenorchy, Tasmania – and yes, you’ll have access to a 4one4 ute to get you (and your tools) from job to job.

As our Gardener, you’ll be the person behind the neat lawns, tidy hedges and street-appeal moments across a range of homes in our rental and sales portfolio. If you’ve got a green thumb, take pride in presentation and like seeing the instant impact of your work, this role is a big part of how we keep our properties looking 4one4-level sharp.

What you'll be doing

• Regularly mowing, edging and maintaining lawns to a high standard

• Pruning, trimming and shaping shrubs, hedges and trees

• Planting, weeding and cultivating garden beds

• Applying fertilisers, mulch and other amendments to promote plant health

• Identifying and addressing any pest or disease issues in the gardens

• Performing general garden maintenance such as cleaning paths and tidying debris

• Ensuring all gardening tools and equipment are well maintained

• Safely driving and caring for a 4one4 work ute while out on the road

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Gardener or Landscaper, ideally in a commercial or property management setting

• Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care and landscaping techniques

• Excellent attention to detail and a love of keeping things neat, tidy and “open-home ready”

• A genuine passion for gardening and a commitment to sustainable practices

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the wider Maintenance & Property Management team

• Physical fitness and stamina to carry out hands-on gardening tasks

• A valid driver’s licence and a safe driving record (you’ll be entrusted with a 4one4 ute)
