The Store Person - Kitting at Australian Defence Apparel Pty Ltd plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. This position involves the preparation and assembly of kits required for production and distribution, ensuring that all components meet quality standards and are delivered on time. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy against delivery documentation.
• Accurately assemble kitting orders according to specified requirements, including packaging items appropriately for distribution.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency in kitting operations.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfilment of orders while adhering to production schedules.
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records as necessary.
• Assist in the identification of process improvements within the kitting area to enhance productivity.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

• Proficient in kitting processes and inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar store or warehouse role.
• Experience with kitting or assembly processes in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Previous exposure to inventory control and stock management procedures.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
• Yearly - Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks.
