Supply Planner

We are seeking a Supply Planner to oversee the entire process for managing customer orders. This role involves ensuring efficient supply chain operations and contributing to our ongoing improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and identify the shortages

• Undertake purchasing activities relating to MPS/MRP / BOM items and projects.

• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement and LEAN Manufacturing activities.

• Perform Import and Export control activities as required.

• Assist with co-ordinating and preparing RFQ responses for review-Support with Project related functions, administration and reporting

• From the Master Production Schedule (MPS), plan and execute purchase orders and monitor to meet MPS and customer deliveries.

• Plan pre-purchasing activities with Engineering to ensure commencement of production is not delayed and MPS is met.

• Work with supplier on vendor schedules –

• Complete quoting activities against given time line

• Oversee all S&OP processes with a particular focus on demand planning

• Conduct regular Demand meetings with a view to address all potential sales forecast and supply issues

• Prepare the forecast data for each BUs

• Work alongside several areas of business targeting to develop sales forecasts accuracy and drive continuous improvement

• Identify areas of improvements to recommend solutions lead in all resolutions

• Proactively manage the communication of product availability from the supply team to the sales team

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

• Engage with internal and external customers to improve service levels and identify root causes when issues arise

• Manage end to end Supply Chain process for customer orders

• Coordinate with factory, BU, project manager and overseas office for datacentre projects in Australia and overseas

• Manage the RMA process and spare parts for services

Job Experiences:

• Willingness to grow with the organisation, with potential for movement across functional areas

• Strong extra-curricular achievements that reflect a proactive attitude and ownership

• Passionate about being challenged daily and ready to constantly learn- develop and grow

• SAP skills essential

• At least 1- 2 years’ experience in purchasing, planning or inventory controller position in a related industry

• Positive attitude and able to handle things independently

• Multi-tasked oriented and be able to work under pressure with positive results

• Highly developed interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people both internal and external

• Self-motivated, self-disciplined team player

• Meticulous attention to details

• Have an amicable, proactive and collaborative approach
