CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision-focused Machine Shop team in Perth, WA.

Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and machining centres within a busy jobbing workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate CNC lathes and machining centres

• Proficiency with SIEMENS 828D/840D controls and SIEMENS ShopTurn language is essential

• Produce high-precision components to exacting standards

• Read and interpret complex technical drawings

• Work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a small team

• Maintain safety, quality, and workshop housekeeping standards

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (desirable)

You will bring:

• A Trade Certificate / Qualification in Machining or equivalent

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist — CNC turning experience preferred

• Strong ability to program, set up, and operate CNC machines

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

• A Forklift Licence (advantageous but not essential)

• Permanent full-time role with long-term stability

• Day shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm, with regular overtime available
