Mechanic/Wheel Alignment/Tyre Fitter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic with Wheel Alignment & Tyre Fitting experience to join our team at On Point Auto Haus Pty Ltd, based in Mordialloc, VIC. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive top-quality service. What you'll be doing

1. Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and computer-related problems

2. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre fitting & rotations

3. Test and inspect vehicles to identify potential problems carry out wheel alignments and recommend appropriate solutions

4. Use a range of tools and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance work efficiently

5. Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used

6. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with customers and addressing their concerns

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and techniques

What we're looking for

1. Relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanics or a similar field

2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a workshop setting

3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

4. Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment used in the automotive industry

5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately & autonomously.

6. Effective communication skills and customer service orientation

7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends
