🔎 About the Role
Location: Ipswich North
Employment Type: Casual
Travel: Weekly Petrol money, if you reside 27km from the place of work
Hours Availability (Monday–Friday):
Before School Care: 6:30am – 9:00am
After School Care: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
Vacation Care (operational periods): between 7:30am – 5:30pm
Total Hours:
Up to 15hrs per week (during school terms and 20hrs + in operational VAC)
As an OSHC Qualified Educator, you will support and work with a passionate team to deliver a safe, engaging, and compliant program. You'll support exciting activities, build meaningful connections with children and families, and play an active role within the school community. On some shifts, you will step into the lead role when required and have the skills and experience to lead.
🌈 What You'll Be Doing
Teamwork and supporting a dedicated team of educators
Able to integrate and managing a transitional program
Planning and delivering creative, enriching experiences
Building strong, positive relationships with families and the school community
Ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality care
Contribute to documentation, medical records, and daily operations
🙌 About You
A natural educator who loves working with children and has worked in childcare previously
Confident communicator across children, families, and school staff
Creative, energetic, and FUN
Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude
Able to maintain a clean, nurturing, and welcoming environment
Diploma qualified or actively working towards a qualified qualification (as per ACECQA standards)
Hold Working With Children Check (P-Status)
Hold or be willing to obtain the National Child Safe Certificate
Holds or is willing to obtain the Education and Care First Aid (012) and Child Protection Course.
