About the role

Our Perth-based design team is looking to bring on Geotechnical Engineers with design experience in a consultancy setting. You would be working on projects ranging from inner city buildings and infrastructure to remote mine sites. We are open to speaking with candidates with anywhere from 3 to 12 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Working with the technical team to develop, provide and promote design solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs

• Work with the senior technical team to contribute to detailed designs for projects ranging from building foundations and temporary works to large infrastructure and mining  or energy projects

• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks and take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work

• Ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards

• Maintaining good relationships with existing clients and working with the client relations/business development team to target new opportunities
  

What You'll Need

• Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer with minimum 3+ years of experience working in a geotechnical consulting environment

• Good analytical skills and prior knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo etc.)

• Have proven experience when it comes to design delivery of complex projects

• Some experience with delivering geotechnical site investigations and interpretive reporting and/or prior field based geotechnical experience

• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written

• A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must

• Current Australian drivers license

• The ability to travel for a combination of office-based and field-based work
