Experienced Civil Project Manager

About the Role

Norwest Contracting is a growing Western Australian civil contractor with a strong presence in the Pilbara. Following the recent award of the Mulataga Stages 1A & 1B package with DevelopmentWA, we are expanding our project delivery capacity and seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team in Karratha.

This role will play a key part in supporting the continued growth of the business. The position is intended to provide broader project management capability across current and future works in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects from planning through to practical completion

• Manage project teams, subcontractors, programme, budget, and commercial outcomes

• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

• Uphold high standards in safety, quality, and environmental performance

• Support the development of site supervisors, engineers, and apprentices

• Contribute to business growth through consistent project performance and identification of future opportunities

About You

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager on civil projects (earthworks, roads, drainage, or subdivision works preferred)

• Strong commercial and contractual understanding (AS 2124 experience highly regarded)

• Previous Pilbara or remote regional experience is advantageous

• Proven leadership and communication skills

• Current White Card and relevant construction tickets
