Business Development Manager - Workforce

Help shape the future of workforce solutions within an ASX-listed mining services group.

Aquirian Limited (ASX: AQN) is an integrated mining services and technology company supporting the resources sector through specialist drilling and blasting services, mining technologies, workforce solutions and energetics.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the next phase of growth for our Workforce business.

This is not a traditional recruitment role.

It is an opportunity to build and grow a specialist workforce solutions business by developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities and helping shape the future direction of one of Aquirian's highest growth opportunities.

Reporting to the General Manager – Commercial, you will have ownership of the commercial growth strategy for TBS Workforce and work closely with senior leaders across the Group.

About the Role
You will be responsible for identifying and securing new workforce opportunities across the mining industry while building long-term relationships with mining companies, contractors and project owners throughout Western Australia.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing the Workforce business growth strategy
• Identifying and securing new labour hire and workforce solutions opportunities
• Building executive-level customer relationships across the mining sector
• Negotiating commercial agreements and preferred supplier arrangements
• Managing a healthy sales pipeline through CRM and forecasting
• Working closely with operations to ensure successful mobilisation and delivery
• Identifying opportunities to support broader Aquirian business units, including Drillforce

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial capability with an established network across the Western Australian mining industry.
You will likely bring:

• Proven success in business development within mining labour hire, workforce solutions or mining services
• An established network across mining companies, contractors and project owners
• A demonstrated track record of winning new business and developing strategic customer relationships
• Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating commercial agreements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to operate autonomously

Experience in mining workforce solutions or industrial recruitment is highly regarded.
