Aluminium Fabricator/Welder/Trade Assist

Role: We are seeking a talented Fabricator/Welder/Trade assist to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing aluminium and steel components to specifications, and utilising your experience and expertise on a variety of metals predominantly aluminium but also including stainless steel and mild steel. Some installation work will be required on an ad hoc basis to get you out of the factory once in a while.

Responsibilities:

·       Interpret technical drawings accurately

·       Prepare and cut metal extrusions and components to required specifications

·       Carry out welding tasks with proficiency in MIG/TIG welding techniques ( training can be provided )

·       Maintain a safe and clean work environment

·       Collaborate effectively with the team to meet project timelines and exceed customer expectations

·       Exhibit a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

·       Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·       Installations across the sunshine coast.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

·       2+ years of experience in fabrication and welding, preferably within an aluminium fabrication environment

·       Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and general metal fabrication

·       Valid Driver's License

·       Familiarity with fabrication equipment and electrical power tools
