Restaurant Assistant Manager

C BAR, located at Townsville's iconic The Strand, is seeking a full time restaurant assistant manager.  At C BAR, we pride ourselves on providing professional customer service.  If you are interested in joining our exciting business, we would love to hear from you.

While training is provided, we are looking for someone with previous experience in management and/or supervising. We are looking for team members that can tick the following boxes:

- Assisting in running day to day busy shifts

- Assisting the restaurant manager with daily operational needs for a successful business

- Assisting with ordering and accepting stock as well as stocktakes when needed

- Reconciliation and management of POS, takings, stock and operating supplies

- Leading, motivating and assisting with training staff in line with the business’s customer service expectations

- Great teamwork and a positive attitude

- Understanding and meeting KPI’s and targets

- Opening and closing the venue

- Neat and tidy grooming/appearance

- Able to work a rotating full-time roster with a mix of mornings, days and nights with weekends a must.

Not necessary but an advantage if you are also interested in social media marketing.

Must have RSA

Knowledge in bartending and coffee is also an advantage.

We pride ourselves on having a team that enjoy working with the stunning views and ocean breezes that accompany our large alfresco dining space. Located overlooking the ocean and Magnetic Island, it certainly beats being in an office!
