ABOUT ONE WORLD RENTAL
One World Rental is a global leader in event technology and IT rental solutions, supporting conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events worldwide. With operations across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, we deliver technology solutions for thousands of events each year.
Our clients include organisations such as Apple, the United Nations, Formula 1, Disney, and major international conference organisers.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for Casual IT Technicians to join our growing Australia team, one based in Ingleburn, Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and supporting live events. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality IT rental solutions, including setup, configuration, and on-site technical support for events across Australia.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
· Configure, deploy, and maintain IT equipment (laptops, iPads, printers, networking devices)
· Prepare and test equipment prior to dispatch
· Provide on-site technical support at events and client locations
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues under time pressure
· Assist with warehouse operations including stock control and logistics
· Install and support Wi-Fi networks and connectivity solutions
· Ensure all equipment is returned, checked, and reset after use
· Deliver excellent customer service to clients and event teams
· Travel to event sites as required (sometimes outside standard hours)
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE……
· Previous experience in IT support, AV, or event technology
· Strong knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and mobile devices
· Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, Wi-Fi setup)
· A proactive, problem-solving mindset
· Ability to work under pressure in live event environments
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· A valid driver’s licence (essential)
· Flexibility to travel and work evenings/weekends when required
