Position: Truck Detailer- New Vehicle Handover
Employment Type: Full-time

About the roleThis role is responsible for the internal and external cleaning of new and used trucks, ensuring they are prepared to a high standard for final customer handover. You will complete the final clean before customer delivery and work closely as part of our production and delivery team at our Ormeau facility.
Previous experience preparing trucks for customer handover, ideally within a truck dealership, would be highly regarded. However, we are also open to motivated applicants with no prior experience who are eager to learn. Full training is provided, and a strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.
In addition to vehicle preparation, the successful applicant will assist with a variety of general duties around the facility as required.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:Internal and external cleaning of new and used trucks in an accurate and timely manner.
Preparing vehicles to “handover” standard for customer delivery.
Completing final quality cleans prior to customer pickup.
Carrying out minor repair works such as repairing scratches, scuffs, key marks, small dings, and addressing paint defects on panels, bumpers, hoods, and vertical surfaces.
Erasing paint scratches and minor cosmetic defects where possible.
Assisting with Quality Control inspections and recording any non-conformances.
Supporting general yard duties and assisting the wider production and delivery team as required.
Organised, reliable and punctual person with good attendance record
Experience with Automotive detailing (preferred but not essential)
Current HR Truck Drivers License (an advantage)
Forklift license (an advantage)
Positive and friendly attitude
Customer service focus
Good attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable working around large vehicles
Takes pride in producing high-quality work
