Senior / Lead Electrical Designers – 2D – 3D opportunities

We require Electrical Designers with mining plant experience and are happy to look at all options, from Designer to Senior and Lead Electrical Designers to join the ECG Engineering Perth team.  You will contribute to the design of a range of mineral processing related projects across Africa with both 2D and 3D opportunities available.

With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila & Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania & Cape Town, ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.

The role will be Perth based, working with an established design team, working with a range of Africa project teams, with support from our Brisbane office, and coordinating support services from our office in Manila.

To be considered for the roles, you need solid design experience on complex high value electrical projects, utilizing AutoCAD.

  Have a solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principals relating to the design of large & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate. The ability to translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings; general layouts, process flow diagrams, schematics, terminations, single line drawings and the like.

• Relevant electrical engineering diploma or equivalent qualification
• Experience working in a specialized electrical team, on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope
• Ensure designs follow client requirements as well as industry and Australian standards.
