Personal Care Worker | Tenterfield

The Role 
 
We are offering a Part-Time and Casual opportunity for Personal Care Workers to join our facility based in Tenterfield, NSW. Personal Care Workers contribute to resident comfort and quality of life by providing safe, high-quality care in accordance with each resident's care plan. You’ll provide compassionate overnight care across Millrace and Haddington, supporting residents with personal care, comfort, mobility, and safety during weekday night shifts.

What you will do 
 
The Personal Care Worker is responsible for ensuring: 

• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc. 
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc 
• Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors and assisting residents attending activities. 
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals, 
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts 

 
Who are you and what will you bring? 

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same) 
• Australian Working Rights, Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen only, we do not offer sponsorships. 
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients 
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting 
• Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)  
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care 
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
