about the role
The Programs Manager is a key member of the MMAGP leadership team and is responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight and continuous improvement across all community programs and services. The role ensures programs are culturally safe, community-led, financially sustainable and delivered to a high standard, while meeting organisational priorities, funding obligations and legislative requirements.
Working closely with the CEO and Operations Manager, the Programs Manager leads and develops Program Leaders and Coordinators, strengthens staff capability, drives service quality, manages program performance and budgets, and fosters strong partnerships with community, government and key stakeholders. The role contributes to organisational growth by identifying emerging community needs, supporting innovation and continuous quality improvement, and ensuring MMAGP continues to deliver meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal people, families and communities across the Eastern Metropolitan Region.
