Carpenter – Maintenance Division | Pathway to Supervisor/Leading Hand

We're looking for a skilled carpenter to join our Maintenance division. This is a hands-on role with genuine long-term progression — over time you'll be shadowed and mentored by our management team, with a real opportunity to step off the tools in the years ahead and move into a Supervisor or Leading Hand role.

About the Role

This is a hands-on carpentry role with a clear pathway forward. You'll be on the tools day-to-day, but from day one you'll be exposed to how jobs are run, managed and delivered — so when the opportunity comes, you're ready to step up.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out high-quality carpentry work across a range of maintenance jobs

• Working across multiple client sites on a daily basis

• Being closely shadowed and mentored by our Managers

• Learning how jobs are scoped, scheduled and supervised

• Reading plans and understanding what needs to be built

• Keeping sites tidy, safe and running smoothly

• Liaising with other trades on site as required

• Flagging issues early and helping problem-solve

• Gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills and confidence grow

What We're Looking For

• A qualified, all-round carpenter with solid on-the-tools experience

• Eager to skill up over time into a Supervisor or Leading Hand position

• Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work

• Good communicator who works well with clients and other trades

• Keen to learn the management side of the business
