Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Practitioner role based at Mantraraj Medical Centre in Sydney, NSW. The General Practitioner will provide holistic primary care, including patient consultations, diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, and preventative health assessments. Daily responsibilities include taking medical histories, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing medications, and coordinating referrals to specialists or allied health professionals as needed. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, participating in practice meetings, contributing to quality improvement activities, and supporting patient education on health promotion and disease prevention. The General Practitioner will collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to ensure safe, culturally sensitive, and efficient care.
Qualifications
Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with a focus on comprehensive, patient-centered care.Experience or interest in Family Medicine, managing health needs across the lifespan.Ability to work collaboratively with Nursing staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to Training and ongoing professional development, including staying current with clinical guidelines.Current medical degree and full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant medical board in Australia.Experience in general practice or primary care settings, preferably in community-based environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a varied clinical workload safely.
